We hope you will join us for the 2nd annual WALK ‘N ROCK FOR KIDS taking place Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Raley Field in West Sacramento. The event will kick off with a morning 5K walk involving families, local businesses, walk teams and supporters. Participants will walk and raise funds on behalf of our 2010 Nonprofit Partners and Nonprofit Associates. There is NO FEE to register before 5/22/2010. Participants over the age of 17 who register after 5/22/2010 will be charged a $25 late registration fee which will be a donation to the walker's participating charity of choice. All proceeds will go directly to the children’s charity you register to walk in support of. You also have the option to walk for Walk 'N Rock for Kids and your donations will be split amongst our 2010 Nonprofit Partners: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento, Inc., Cristo Rey High School, Keaton Raphael Memorial, Okizu, People Reaching Out, River Cats Foundation, Inc. and Wind Youth Services.
DAY OF THE EVENT:
Walk Registration: 7:00 a.m.
Walk Start: 8:00 a.m.
The morning will be filled with music at Raley Field and along the route. After the walk, enjoy entertainment, interactive booths, kids activities, more music, food and fun! No pets, roller skates or skateboards please. We will walk rain or shine.
Concert Doors Open: 6:30 p.m.
Concert Start: 7:30 p.m.
Later that evening, Hope Productions and our corporate partners will host an exlcusive VIP reception and a benefit concert featuring HEART and SAMMY HAGAR open to the general public. The proceeds from the concert will be divided among the NonProfit Partners. Click the 'Purchase Concert Ticket' link from our event home page to purchase tickets online or visit the Raley Field box office to bypass convenience fees.

Interstate 80 Eastbound to Capital City Freeway (Business 80/US 50) to South Lake Tahoe

-Keep to the Left and take the Downtown Sacramento exit
-Turn Right on Garden Street/Delta Lane

Walker 18 years of age or older as of 5/30/2010 planning on attending event. Walkers in this category who register after 5/22/2010 will be charged a $25 late registration fee.

Registered walkers who individually raise $1,000 or more and have all monies turned in to the Hope Productions office by Saturday, May 22, 2010 will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing for: The WALK 'N ROCK FOR KIDS "VIP Treatment." | Rewards: WALK 'N ROCK FOR KIDS VIP Treatment - Two tickets to the exclusive VIP pre-concert reception featuring live entertainment, meet & greet opportunity with the headlining artists Heart and Sammy Hagar, and table seating for WALK 'N ROCK FOR KIDS dinner and concert.

Walk 'N Rock for Kids Concert Ticket ($500.00 + )
Registered walkers who individually raise $500+ and have all monies turned in to the Hope Productions office by Saturday, May 22, 2010 will receive 1 ticket to see HEART and SAMMY HAGAR at the Walk 'N Rock for Kids concert Sunday, May 30, 2010. Each participant will receive 1 additional ticket for each additional $500 raised and turned in by 5/22/2010. Seating for the incentive tickets will be assigned so you will want to take advantage of Bank Day (click on "Bank Day" on the home page for more info) to pick up your incentive concert ticket(s)and purchase your additional seats.
Each participant who reaches the $500+ level will also have the opportunity to purchase 1 accompanying concert ticket at the discounted price of $35. |

T-shirt ($100.00 + )
Participants walking in support of one of the seven 2010 Nonprofit Partners who individually raise $100+ will receive one commemorative event t-shirt representing their chosen nonprofit with those walking support of ALL of the Nonprofit Partners receiving one of the commemorative WALK 'N ROCK FOR KIDS t-shirts.
Registered participants walking in support of one of the Nonprofit Associates who raise $100+ will receive one commemerative WALK 'N ROCK FOR KIDS t-shirt. |
